HISTORY

The fortunate imprenditorial and industrial activity of the Confalonieri family in Valchiavenna started in 1897 with Guido Confalonieri: a business was born which would evolve in time according to the needs of the Italian and international market.
The Confalonieri family shows since the beginning a really focused mentality which was the fundament for the creation of a busy and always evolving company ready to understand and satisfy customer requests both from the domestic italian market and internationally. In the beginning of 1900 from the original postcard printing activity, flourished the production of chalks for blackboards and tailorist. Thanks to the work of Ferdinando Confalonieri and Guido Carnazza (respectively son and nephew of Guido Confalonieri), year 1929 shows the inreasing of activity, mainly due to the production of school and office goods like graphite made pencils and coloured pastels marketed "Gran Capo" and "Arlecchino".
During the golden age of '60s Elisabetta Gallese (Ferdinando Confalonieri's wife) inspired by the new italian life style decided to go into the production of pencils for make up. The successful idea changed the core business and under the direction of Guido Luca Confalonieri, Confalonieri Matite specialized in manifacturing make up pencils for the most known italian brand names.
Nowadays Confalonieri Matite is projected in the future with fresh and innovative ideas, a new company organization that offers the market a wide range of products: lipsticks, lipglosses, concealers, foundations, eyeshadows and creamy perfumes.

Our R&D division, thanks to our advanced Thermosystem, is always studying new formulas and customized textures, new colours and new and innovative make up techiniques. Confalonieiri Matite focused on high tech production to achieve a broader colour palette, new textures, customized crayon shapes, estetich high definition and innovative accessories; to our completely custom crayon totally made on Customer specifications.

Confalonieri Matite focused on highest technology devoted to make up crayons manifacturing to be able to offer a broad variety on textures and colours. Each item is producted in our factory following a manifacturing process that need dedication and time. Confalonieri Matite pays a lot of attention and care to the control quality and to the packaging too for a completely reliable serice to our Customer. We offer a range of products with highes standard, hypoallergenic and clinically tested, enriched with natural origin additives. In 2010 we obtained the Ecocert and CCPB certification, for the production of pencils that belongs to the standards of “biological cosmetics”.

Thanks to the above mentioned certifications, the company takes place in a prominent position among the cosmetic contract manufacturers: a guarantee of reliability, also thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001:2008. certification.
