It’s a genuine tradition for Confalonieri Cosmetica: since we started manufacturing makeup pencils, we have not missed a single edition of this trade show. It’s not the only industry event we attend, but it’s surely the one we have a special connection to.
100% made in Italy
We’re really proud to manufacture our pencils entirely in Italy, in our Gordona facility, so every year we’re very happy to show our new products in Italy, at an international event. Cosmoprof is a perfect opportunity to meet customers, partners, companies from all over the world, in a trade show that focuses on innovation: in our industry, research and development of new products play a crucial role.
Of course we bring this “made in Italy” pride with us when we’re going abroad: over time Make Up in Paris and Make Up in Los Angeles have become an appointment as well. These two events allow us to stay connected with two markets that are extremely important for our industry and especially for Confalonieri. This direct contact is essential for us, because we make pencils designed to fit every client like a tailor-made dress: knowing the different contexts in which our customers operate, we can work better on the co-creation process to customise every single product.
Cosmoprof and our evolution
All these years at Cosmoprof – and later at the other exhibitions – have marked an ongoing evolution, a development we’ve built without losing sight of the core values of our company. The key points remain steady, through all the changes that we have put into play over the years: our pencils are 100% made in Italy, entirely manufactured in our factory, made exclusively with cedar wood, with a strong commitment to quality and a great attention to the needs of every customer.
Year after year, at Cosmoprof and all the trade shows we presented products created with this approach, but we’ve never limited our work to the “classic” features of wooden pencils.
