Since the 1960s, everything (well, almost everything) has changed in our industry – the formulas, style, markets, trends, communication tools. Confalonieri has also evolved in many areas, but the baseline remains clear: quality. It’s essential for us – it always has been and always will be. No matter how fast-paced the makeup market becomes, quality is not up for debate at Confalonieri.
Our commitment to quality begins with the raw materials. We purchase wood and all ingredients for our formulas from suppliers that follow strict standards on the type of materials, their source and their management.
All of the raw materials we use are traceable along the entire production chain and we can provide the relevant certifications when required.
The entire production is carried out in our facilities in Gordona, from the construction of the body in the carpentry department to the extrusion (or moulding) of the textures, through to the painting, printing and finishing. That’s how we’re able to closely monitor every single step of the process, ensuring an optimal result for all the private label pencils we produce.
Over the years Confalonieri Matite has consistently invested in the improvement of its laboratory and production lines with next generation technologies.
How many functions can a wood-made makeup pencil offer? Every day we’re working to expand the possibilities. Our Research and Development department constantly creates and tests new formulas, using innovative ingredients and gradually expanding what we can do with makeup pencils, strictly made of wood. Performance, reliability and original and surprising solutions are the objective of our highly specialized team, always ready to tackle new creative projects.
Each product batch is tracked and controlled at every step of production, to ensure that all pencils are perfectly compliant with the project designed with the client.
Wood processing, formula composition, colouring, painting, printing, finishing: at each stage our control system checks every batch of pencils, before moving on to the next step.
