Designing and creating a series of looks using Confalonieri pencils, to produce a professional photoshoot dedicated to showcasing new products: this is the project born from the collaboration between the company and APF Valtellina. The partnership began last year and has now been consolidated through an activity that gave students the opportunity to test themselves “in the field” as makeup artists.
The project involved students from the Beauty course – specialising in Cosmetology – at the Sondalo campus of APF Valtellina. They were given an exclusive preview of the new pencil lines launched during Cosmoprof: Ossidiana, Lip2, Jelly and Island Kiss. The students created a series of makeup looks using the different pencils, and these looks - filmed and photographed on a professional set - became part of videos and pictures used to present the lines on social media and at our stand in Bologna.
The students were thus able to experience first-hand the work of a makeup artist within a real photoshoot setting, applying the techniques learned in the classroom while drawing on their full range of skills and creativity to highlight the unique qualities of each pencil line. Supporting them, alongside their teachers, was our R&D team, who explained the technical aspects of the products and answered the many questions raised by the students.
Confalonieri has always maintained a strong connection with its local area and community, and projects for children and youths hold a special place in our commitment to social responsibility. Working with a school in the province of Sondrio that trains future professionals in the beauty and makeup world represents another step in a long-standing journey, aimed at offering meaningful opportunities to young people while strengthening our ties with the community.
