With La forza e il sorriso, for the beauty of every woman

At Confalonieri we work to create products that enhance the natural beauty of every person and we believe that social responsibility is a duty for every company. We want to do our part to make a positive contribution to society, cooperating with organisations from our area and from the beauty industry, the contexts in which we develop our business.

That’s why we are proud to announce a partnership with La forza e il sorriso Onlus, which organizes beauty workshops for women undergoing oncological treatment, helping them to regain well-being and self-esteem through makeup and self-care.

Sponsored by Cosmetica Italia, the national association of cosmetic companies, La forza e il sorriso has provided makeup and skincare workshops to over 22.000 women, with the help of 500 volunteers among healthcare staff and civil personnel, operating in over 55 hospitals throughout the country. The organisation also offers online workshops, to reach people who wouldn’t be able to visit one of these hospitals.

Last year during the Milan Beauty Week we helped La forza e il sorriso by providing customised MBW lip pencils to people donating to the organisation, now we become part of the team of companies that support the project.

It is an important step for us, especially because this collaboration reflects the values we share with La forza e il sorriso Onlus: quality, sustainability, social responsibility take shape in a tangible action in support of women, particularly women facing a difficult time.

We firmly believe that beauty can be a source of strength and hope, an idea we share with the association and with many other organisations in the world. La forza e il sorriso is a part of the big family of Look Good, Feel Better, the international program that since 1989 has brought beauty workshops in 27 countries around the world, including 12 in Europe, helping over two million people.

Everything started with he intuition of an American doctor: talking to some patients, he thought of a workshop with a make-up artist dedicated to women undergoing oncological treatment. The growth of the project, first in the USA and then all over the world, testifies to the success of that idea.
