One year, three pencils: our favourites for 2025

New textures, innovative ingredients, fresh takes on classic products: in 2025 we added plenty of new items to the Confalonieri range, not to mention the customised creations developed throughout the year with our clients for their private label lines. Choosing the best product of 2025 would be difficult, but since we’re wrapping up this year, let’s see the three pencils the Confalonieri team loved most.

Lumina: glamorous and responsible

We have been working for some time on products designed for a conscious beauty, creating makeup pencils that deliver an impeccable performance without causing issues for the skin or the planet. That is exactly why Lumina is one of the 2025 products we are most proud of. It’s a glitter pencil free from microplastics, with a vegan texture that respects the skin. Made with tiny cellulose flakes coated in a sparkling film, the glitter we’re using for Lumina guarantees OECD 301F-certified biodegradability in aquatic environments. In gold or silver, it offers all the glamour of classic glitter pencils without weighing on the ecosystem.

Scrub + Balm: simple, effective

One pencil, two useful steps in your beauty routine. For Scrub + Balm we combined a nourishing lip balm with hyaluronic acid, one of our best sellers, and a brand new exfoliating texture in a double-tip jumbo pencil. The Balm side features a soft, smooth formula containing organic coconut oil and microspheres with hyaluronic acid, a texture that leaves lips soft and smooth while tackling dryness, chapping and irritation. The Scrub side is a creamy vegan texture with organic almond shells powder, that can be certified with Cosmos Organic. It doesn’t scratch or irritate the skin, but has the right level of firmness to remove dead skin cells and impurities, leaving the lips smooth and refined.

Lip Pulse, a perfect shape

A lip pencil that combines volume and softness, Lip Pulse has a creamy texture enriched with actives that stimulate microcirculation, creating a plumping effect that enhances the volume and shape of the lips. We included emollient substances and a refreshing ingredient with soothing action that balance the spicy effect; the formula is dermatologically tested for sensitive skin, so it can be used without any unpleasant surprises. Lip Pulse works well on its own, with its light gloss effect, or as a base for more elaborate looks: it’s a perfect pencil for a private label line focusing on the lips.
